Hello!

I have been a busy little beaver lately :) Jon's (and soon to be mine) niece turned the big 1 yesterday.. It seems like just a few months ago that she was born.. There was a little party at the Roller Den in Monroe yesterday and she was ecstatic to get so much attention! I practice
d using my Wild Card cartridge with the Cricut to make her a pretty girlie card.. I love this cartridge because you can use it to make pretty much any type of card for any situation, sympathy, thank you, birthday, bridal shower, wedding, thinking of you, invitation, etc. It also makes a coordinating envelope to personalize it even more! Here is her card! I love it!

Isn't that just adorable?! I love it.. Super cute :) I think she liked the wrapping paper better than the present or the card though.. haha.. Here is a picture of Ava and her uncle Jon!

Today, I had to make invitations for a friend who's daughter is turning 5 in a couple of weeks and would like to have a rainbow themed birthday party. I made 13 of these invitations and I think they turned out pretty nice.. I looked everywhere for a cute rainbow stamp, and I could not find one! If anyone has any good ideas, let me know.. I had my friend/sidekick Jamie help me with these and she was such a good help! I would've been in my little scrapbooking room forever if she had not helped me glue, write, and tie ribbon! Thanks a bunch, Jamie! Here is the finished product.
It looks a little blurry because I had to photoshop the address and phone number out, so I apologize for that.. Also, here is my lovely helping hand, Jamie and I smiling pretty after a long day of making invites :)
It was a long weekend, and tomorrow is back to work, but I think it was a successful one for me and my Cricut :)
