I realized that I had not posted anything new for awhile, so I took advantage of my lazy Sunday afternoon. Pink Stamper (my idol) has been posting the absolutely cutest things ever, and so I attempted to be as crafty as her.. My New Arrival cartridge finally came last week and I have been dying to try it out. I went to Joann Fabrics yesterday during one of their big scrapbooking sales, and bought a ton of paper, including an adorable paper packet of glitter sweets paper :) So I started off making some baby shower gift tags.. Super fast and really adorable! I also made a new arrival card using the Wild Card cartridge..

Sunday Afternoons
Hello!
I realized that I had not posted anything new for awhile, so I took advantage of my lazy Sunday afternoon. Pink Stamper (my idol) has been posting the absolutely cutest things ever, and so I attempted to be as crafty as her.. Super fast and really adorable! I also made a new arrival card using the Wild Card cartridge..

And then I made some Valentines day cards.. Valentines day is one of my favorite holidays to make cards for because they are just so darn cute! With my Cricut and the Sweethearts cartridge, it is hard to decide on what to make though! There are just too many options ;)

Sunny Days
Today was so nice and sunny out it just motivated me to post a message on my blog :) This weekend was busy with the Bridal Expo in Madison, as well as catching up on stuff around the house.. I did have a chance though to decorate a little Valentines Day mailbox and make a scrapbook page ;) I found these absolutely adorable little mailboxes in Target's $1 section.. I bought a bunch of them to decorate for the girls I work with and my family :) I'm probably the only one that loves them, but I think they are simply splendid.

I also made a scrapbook page of a poem that Jon wrote me for an early Vday present! Awww.. It's so cute, I love it, and thought it was a perfect way to start my scrapbook :)

The Devastation of Haiti
I apologize for the delay in my posts.. I have not been feeling so great and hearing about this horrific natural disaster in Haiti, has got me down.. This is such a sad time for all of these people, if there is anything we can do to help, it is wonderful.
Some of you may have already done this and more, but there is a very simple way to help the people of Haiti during this critical time of need. On your cell phone you can text the word "Haiti" and send it to 90999 and $10 will be added to your cell phone bill. Also, please take a moment to pass this on so that $10 can become $10,000 and more.

Hello!
I have been a busy little beaver lately :) Jon's (and soon to be mine) niece turned the big 1 yesterday.. It seems like just a few months ago that she was born.. There was a little party at the Roller Den in Monroe yesterday and she was ecstatic to get so much attention! I practiced using my Wild Card cartridge with the Cricut to make her a pretty girlie card.. I love this cartridge because you can use it to make pretty much any type of card for any situation, sympathy, thank you, birthday, bridal shower, wedding, thinking of you, invitation, etc. It also makes a coordinating envelope to personalize it even more! Here is her card! I love it!

Isn't that just adorable?! I love it.. Super cute :) I think she liked the wrapping paper better than the present or the card though.. haha.. Here is a picture of Ava and her uncle Jon!

Today, I had to make invitations for a friend who's daughter is turning 5 in a couple of weeks and would like to have a rainbow themed birthday party. I made 13 of these invitations and I think they turned out pretty nice.. I looked everywhere for a cute rainbow stamp, and I could not find one! If anyone has any good ideas, let me know.. I had my friend/sidekick Jamie help me with these and she was such a good help! I would've been in my little scrapbooking room forever if she had not helped me glue, write, and tie ribbon! Thanks a bunch, Jamie! Here is the finished product.
It looks a little blurry because I had to photoshop the address and phone number out, so I apologize for that.. Also, here is my lovely helping hand, Jamie and I smiling pretty after a long day of making invites :)
It was a long weekend, and tomorrow is back to work, but I think it was a successful one for me and my Cricut :)

A New Year
Hello!
It's a new year, and I am ready to go :) Jon and I will finally tie the knot this year on September 25th. We are then going on a 10 day adventure to Hawaii.. I am very excited..
As I start this year, I told myself I would start making cards and scrapbooking more often. My wonderful boss Nicki, told me that I could start selling my custom creations in her store in Madison, Nicki's Diapers. I am very grateful for her for allowing me to do this and I look forward to sharing all of my new cards and ideas with you all :) I also would like to thank my wonderful and supportive fiancee Jon for giving me my amazing Cricut for Christmas to make this possible.. It should be an amazing year!
As Always,
Anna
